One aspect that has been largely overlooked is the extent to which abortion bans are a creature of the white Republican male establishment. In the 21 states where abortion has been outlawed, 90+ percent of legislators who voted for those bans was a Republican, a vast majority being white males. In states where abortion ban legislation has been upheld and the party of the judges is identified 90+ percent were appointed by or elected as Republicans, a vast majority being white males. And of course the US Supreme Court nominations of a white Republican male made possible the overturning of Roe v Wade with 5 of 6 Justices voting for Dobbs being white and 5 being male.
The ultimate irony is that by adopting the politicized, punative, extreme, and often cruel playbook that temperance crusaders used to inflict Prohibition on the American people in the last century, anti-abortion crusaders have all but guaranteed that, once the political tide turns, as it inevitably will, their laws will be repudiated and repealed.
Listening to your interview I think that the definition of feminism is not trying to do things for yourself but trying to do things to promote equality for women.

Men like JD Vance would like women should stay home have lots of babies (white) and be treated like chattel. They should not be allowed to vote or have any opinions on political issues.. Trump runs around and pretends to be the tough guy and treats his ladies like trophies. If women keep the vote they are going to get the OK for who to vote for. I spoke to a woman once and asked her who she voted for and her response was "Who ever my husband wants me to vote for" Go figure. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned "Bring on the fury"
what i find really amazing is the gross oversight of these influencers & followers to realize that many of these MAGA men meant what they said so were the women just being opportunistic or naive? they often find a way or thread to pull to get back to the MAGA message based on some silly online outrage that isn’t in order to restore their faith…or credibility. think Erica Kirk showing them the way like some female villains in The Handmaids Tale.
