If the manufacturing facilities for making a bomb have been destroyed , how do you know that is true? why did you go to war in the first place.? Is this 60 day MOU just a refit. It is quite clear that we are headed for a whole new arrangement in the Middle East and I am listening in a nonpartisan way to everyone on this. This includes people I innately like and people I don’t but definitely not those responsible for all the failure of the last 40+ years. OK yeah sometimes the neocons and Zionists but in my defense they’re unwittingly an absolute comedy goldmine right now, it’s like watching trip and fall videos.

I am astounded that JD responded to an inquiry about his experience in hostile negotiations by pointing out his one hour appearance on The View with Joy Behar.

This is like saying a three-year old child can drive a car because the child operates a Cozy Coupe on the sidewalk.
Two issues are overlooked here : Iran has twice being betrayed during diplomatic negotiations with the U.S. and Israel, as strikes carried out while talks were still ongoing.
The alleged 28 February 2026 attack on a girls’ school—reportedly killing 168—has been a planned war crime involving Tomahawk missiles.
Reasonably Iran first was cowardly attacked and was acting in self-defense therefore has strong reasons to distrust any agreement with an unpredictable Trump regime
First, the US lost the war, no question. Iran is saying to Trump: you lost the war, we are going to make you eat this sh*t sandwich. Trump has been squirming to avoiding eating it in public. Finally he has the great idea: I'll make Vance eat it! So Vance goes out in public and explains that it is in fact a delicious gourmet meal and not a sh*t sandwich.
Second, this was a performance by Vance for the senate Republicans. If the Democrats win the House there will be an impeachment in 2027. If they also win the Senate there will be a trial. At that point senate Republicans are going to look at Trump and Vance and ask themselves, would we be better off with Vance as president? If enough of them say yes then Trump will be forced to step down, making Vance president. As part of the deal Vance would pardon Trump. So this was sort of an audition by Vance. In the 2028 elections the Iran war is still going to be an issue and Vance is showing that he can prevaricate with the best of them.
