Welcome back to The Red Letter.

Turn on any streamer and the hottest genre isn’t true crime or dystopia—it’s “Eat the Rich” television. White Lotus. Succession. Your Friends and Neighbors. The Perfect Couple. Mountainhead. You know the drill: wealthy, self-absorbed white people behaving badly while America hate-watches with glee. It's more than entertainment—it's a collective pressure valve.

I call it what it is: rich white people porn—a cooling balm on the white-hot rage simmering just beneath the surface. The kind that bubbles up when the American President casually doubles his net worth thanks to the memecoin racket, or when a ketamine-addled tech bro takes a chainsaw to the National Institute of Health, but somehow leaves his cozy Pentagon and NASA contracts untouched.

The movement follows Bernie Sanders and AOC’s packing 9,000 people into blood-red Montana for their “Fight the Oligarchy Tour” and then 36,000 in Los Angeles. Mamdani’s victory wasn’t a blip. It was a warning shot.

Cloobeck doesn’t hold back—and neither do I.
