Praying for a super destructive schism!

So nice someone is talking about this rather than any perceived schism’s between the Dem left and moderates. Frankly I think this is more relevant.

Looking forward to Ms. Palmeri’s piece on the woke right because that’s a real thing. These knuckleheads fought the monster so long and so hard that they became the monster. Really feel like I should caution folks on the left a bit here though because I was seeing some Woke is Back! commentary last week - for your own good don’t bring it back. Let it stay dead and if it comes back to life fight it like you’re Chuck Schumer.

It's fascinating hearing about the internal MAGA conflicts and speculation about the future. It seems the extremists get attention and traction while the moderates shrink in comparison. We need open primaries and full voter participation to rout out the extremists.

I always find it funny when racist feel “that’s too racist” and Nazi’s feel “that’s too Nazi.” What they do and feel about each other doesn’t change anything. We’re still “the radical left” to them and their infighting will all end when they have a target 🎯 to unite against. Hate unifies them, it’s empowering. No explanation needed it’s like needing to understand pedophiles. Birds of a feather will ALWAYS flock together.

Thank you for interviewing Richard Hanainia. His description of how the groypers taking over mainstream Republican politics seems spot on. I still find his explanations on how his views on race evolved a bit thin, but it is not for me to decide if his conversion is sincere, although I will continue to be a bit skeptical of his intentions.

It seems his views on race only evolved on immigration and their contribution to business in tech yet not on diversity, equity and inclusion. Which is interesting because it’s all linked. He contradicted himself in my opinion.

This split needs to widen, and all possibilities and strategies examined, looking at ways to exploit this chink in the MAGA armor, should be considered. Go offence!

Everything that MAGA does is inherently self-destructive.

The right has used dog whistles my entire 51 years on the planet to keep the racists on side. For any Republican to now act shocked their party is full of Nazis is incredulous beyond belief. They built this monster and now they have to deal with it.
