I sat down with my former colleague and veteran reporter Isabel Vincent, who obtained and pored over those diaries for her new book RFK Jr: The Fall and Rise, and what emerges isn’t just a scandal-plagued political figure. It’s something more revealing and more dangerous. A man who sees himself as both the protagonist and the victim, someone who can rationalize almost anything as part of a larger mission.
Now, he’s no longer on the outside looking in. He’s inside the government, shaping policy, building influence and, according to people who know him, still thinking about what comes next.
