Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Julia Angwin explains why history suggests ordinary people—not strongmen—ultimately shape the future, and why supporting independent journalism is part of that fight.
This was such an uplifting conversation, but I worry that it might take things getting much worse (which is scary) before people are motivated to take action.
This election we will see. You could be right. But we all see their allies dropping like flies right now. MTG is good example. They are shadow banning her now. Because she has openly come out against Trump and the GOP. (Still not progressive though)
Do you think most citizens in Russia like the Putin regime? I don’t think so. They have a police force to stop any protest, retaliation, and killing leaders like Alex Navalny. They control population through force.
Great work, this one you should clip a billion ways and push on everyone everywhere. Mystifying how you got the tree to move from the right side of your set to the left side of Julia Angwin’s.
YES!!!! please, please spread the word!!! once we the 99% have had enough of this crap it's OVER!! The 1% have absolutely NO CHANCE!! WE HOLD ALL OF THE POWER. NOTHING MOVES WITHOUT US!!!
Yes we do. Take Musk's statement that "empathy is a weakness". From his point of view yes, but.....
Their lack of empathy is the weakness of psychopaths. We can join together as complete strangers, and trust one another. They can only join together for as long as it needs to commit their crimes. They can swear all the oaths of loyalty they want, but none of them will be kept when that need is gone. There is no honor among thieves.
Our strength, our empathy, is their greatest fear. Even if we only had a small number of protesters. They know they are far outnumbered by those of us who are busy working. And that we would turn out in force when we need to.
They know that they are much less powerful than they claim to be, and they know that we know it.
Watched this live, really enjoyed it! We definitely do have the power, and I use mine to support The Red Letter!
Thank you David!! really appreciate your support.

Me too. There are many militia groups throughout America. In other words, hate groups armed and brainwashed.

It could be a turning point for the bad. I hope I am wrong. God help us.
This was so great thank you! Going to listen to it again!
Love that!

agreed

I agree this one deserves so much clipping!
I am 💯% certain you are CORRECT. Look how hard they work to oppress us - to keep us weak and unaware, working to distraction to stay alive.
America was not built by sitting around watching - Act now, ask for forgiveness later. (Real life is a daily battle).

Thank you. This was so important. Journalism is powerful. It is our communicator to what is going on. We must protect it.
