This was really interesting to hear. I do wonder if Trump isn't endorsing because he wants to see who the people choose for Texas. More Blue Team voters showed up for the primary than Red Team voters. And Talarico got 1.2M votes - more than any primary candidate. Conservative Christians who don't like Christian Nationalism love him. Cornyn has been running ads/posts about Talarico attacking Christian Nationalism and they are bombing. Red Christian voters hear Talarico and hear their preacher at Sunday service. Trump is truly worried.
Talarico has no chance to win the senate seat, so the only question that remains is how much will the Republican Party have to spend. Trump cares about party money flowing towards him, his endorsement record, and having enough Republicans in Congress to protect his power. Trump has never shown much concern for individual party members so long as it does not impact him. Tara you might remember better, but wasn't Trump's magic touch for the midterms during the first administration pretty lackluster too?

No Democratic seat has turned Republican.
