Welcome back to The Red Letter.
What a wild week! I’m currently reporting out an episode of The Tara Palmeri Show on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify that will unpack the relationship between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, so stay tuned… I’ve spent nearly two years investigating the Epstein case for the “Broken: Jeffrey Epstein” and “Power: The Maxwells” podcasts. My reporting is based on interviews with survivors, witnesses and a lawyer who subpoenaed Trump on his friendship with Epstein on behalf of the victims.
As promised, I’m keeping the weekly quiz on weird Washington going. Please take it and leave your score in the comments, send feedback and share it with your friends before it only becomes available to paid subscribers. Thank you to Luke Radel and Abigail Baker for assembling the quiz.
Foreign Policy Friday: In the latest episode of State of the World with Sally Lockwood, we unpack how Gaza became the “hungriest place on earth,” according to the United Nations, with Human Rights Watch’s Omar Shakir. It’s a harrowing account that only seems to be getting worse.
Hmm ... I clicked on the quiz and it went straight to results. So, no idea how I did. 😞
Wild week.
Taco Don and the Ketamine Kid are no longer BFFs.
Surprise! Ukraine apparently has "cards" after all.
German Chancellor Merz had his day in the Oval and proved once again that Taco Don knows nothing about history or foreign affairs.
While I still prefer calling Karoline Leavitt 'Bullsh*t Barbie', a damn good backup is 'Taco Belle'. 😂🤣 Also with Ms. Leavitt, I understand that the cross necklace is gone thanks to Jon Stewart's Pinocchio diatribe about it on Monday night's TDS episode. We shall see if it makes a comeback.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth missed a NATO meeting on Ukraine because he has to rename an entire class of ships because of DEI.
But the best one of the week is that someone is scamming the scammers by creating a $TRUMP crypto wallet and that has the Trump boys calling foul! 🤣😂🤣😂
6/10🤨get better soon T😷
