SCOTUS, Inc. is an absolute disgrace. They are fully on board with the #DirtyOldMan's authoritarian plans. They are corrupt and until we face that fact squarely and enact reform (unstack the court), our democracy is in grave peril.
Democrats are talking about making major reforms to restore our democracy, assuming we can win big in 2026 and 2028, but I fear the implications of that are even if we can make the reforms, we’ll never be more than one red wave presidential election away from being turned into a Christian Nationalist Oligarchy of Billionaires.
I mean, the right wing has been building up to this for decades, creating the institutions like the Heritage Foundation, the Federalist Society, and Fox News and an army of right wing media personalities and influencers who will continue pushing for domination of the US after Trump is gone and MAGA reconstitutes itself under a new name.
If we can win elections and make democratic reforms, what’s to stop Republicans from undoing all the reforms, then picking up where Trump and the Roberts SCOTUS leave things?
In Michigan, we have what's called a real ID. We had to bring our birth certificate in to our Secretary of State. They asked several personal questions about your parents. Why doesn't other states adopt Real ID licenses?

If they have a problem with immigration take some of the five hundred million for the Ballroom and hire a few more immigration justices. Fix the problem and quite blaming immigrants. As I have said in other forums, it is NOT the Supreme Court role nor should it be to create laws. The Supreme Court is appointed not elected. IT IS THE JOB OF CONGRESS TO MAKE LAW, NOT THE SUPREME COURT!!! Blame your congressional representatives. We do not want the Supreme Court to make laws, there are still for the most part a bunch of old white men, with a few old women and old minorities. All old, so am I, but I am not on the Supreme Court. Congress has to do its job and if it does not other branches of government, some of which are not even elected will fill in the blanks!
