I made a point of watching the interview with Michael after everything blew up with Lev right before xmas. I have never liked Michael Cohen. I knew nothing about him beyond what most of us not in the media knew. But I'm Jewish from NY and back in January, after Trump's "crowning" when Jim Acosta moved to Substack, Michael was on a lot. I didn't trust him and it was clear to me that he was a user, trying to connect himself to Jim's independent news endeavor. I even "warned" lol! Jim after a month or two, to not get caught up with him. I watched Michael--same sob story--try to do the same with Joy and others. Even Don Lemmon, (and am surprised that Don didn't immediately see through him. Or perhaps did and has his own reasons for using Michael while keeping him on a professional "leash." I give you this background, because in your interview ("the" interview) with Michael, fooled me and I was irritated at you!
I thought you kept probing while pretending not to, with the, well, I was just wondering...." My thoughts were--actually ironic given what Lev revealed about Trump having him track Michael--was that Trump wouldn't have trusted Michael enough to divulge anything about his relationship with Epstein. I watched Lev's last evening, reporting based on the document Ellie's subscriber sent her. That's why I am tuned in now.
Before beginning to write to you, I watched the segment played on Lev's cell phone, through a different "lens", supported by your narrative as it played. What you were doing wasn't annoying...you were doing a great job and had rattled Michael. His anger was a reaction to the fear you triggered, not to being "unjustly accused" and you refusing to let up...Reminding me, as I write this, of TV's
