From energy spikes to geopolitical risk, the forces pushing prices higher aren’t going away anytime soon. Inside the latest inflation report—and what it means for your wallet.
I’m from Norway and I have a lot of questions in general that I can’t seem to wrap my head around when it comes to the American health care system, 2nd amendment, the poverty and debt ceiling (and a lot more). I’m not saying the Norwegian or Scandinavian way is perfect by any means and we also struggle with poverty (not trying to say we don’t). But you’re getting nowhere and you’re lagging behind every western country. Why is that for the country who’s supposedly the best? The country other countries sees as a role model (not with Trump in power but generally). And why are Iranians seen as fanatics when they threaten death to everyone but not Trump when he threatens the death of an entire civilization?
It is because we have been overwhelmed by capitalism and lobbying since our Supreme Court ridiculously loosened the election financing rules. This is what happens. Gun lobby, for example, overwhelmes the system. If America could change only one thing for the long term, i would vote for election funding reform.
It just feels like political suicide to ignore that voters when they are telling you they are unhappy with the economy, which was the primary reason they voted for this administration.
Inflation used to be a factor of consumer activity. Now it’s a factor of Trump’s tariffs and market hedged manipulation of markets to monopolize society so corporations can dominate society. The war causes market fluctuations which are manipulated. The CPI is a direct result of the trust fund managers and trustees who collude to monopolize and control entire market segments.
Now these morons have people who don’t even have to have Capital. It’s directly related to black market capitalism which fucks over the consumer.
You are not going to get this from people who have shares that are tied into the stock market so normal people feel like they are building a nest egg. Except all the value is being manipulated by the market fluctuating and hedge fund ‘managers’ manipulating the trades using capital and stock market share of corporate control.
Maybe you already understand this. The consumer is still resilient, but the wealthy don’t experience the same market loss. They profit from the price being manipulated as Trump picks winners and losers by offering access to his office as long as you bribe Trump International.
The war.
Please work on transcribing these videos! I can't find 32 minutes to watch! But I love the content!
I second this. I get that the algorithm elevates video but I’d read a transcript
