Tara wrote so insightfully: “The revelations coming out now show a man who wasn’t just observing the monsters of our age. He was orbiting them, enjoying the warmth and trying to become them.” As usual, Tara hit the nail on the head. And the nail penetrated the shield of a so-called journalist who “journaled” himself into one of the ugliest stories of our time.

He wasn't alone in being in thrall to Epstein. Summers,as just one example, was equally entranced even when he knew Epstein was a pedophile and sex trafficker.

I don't think this is a correct interpretation. It's more like going undercover. I'm glad we have the information he unearthed. Too much gotcha.

You think he went undercover to bid on a magazine together? Imagine if Epstein ran NYmag. Also why sit on all of this info for so long

Information he unearthed? He didn’t unearth this correspondence! He would have been just as happy if it never saw the light of day!

While I question Michael Wolff's tactics, I don't think he's unusual. But I kind of agree with Nancy Jo Craig's comment about this being a form of undercover. Not admirable, but it got the story and much of journalism is about getting the story, isn't it? Not to mention our own government has employed spies for centuries who "suck up" to get dope on the "enemy" and no one bats an eyelid at that (maybe we should?) Wolff didn't participate in the child abuse or condone it, as far as I can see. I agree though that he should have revealed the story in full long ago, though he claims he tried and no "reputable" media companies wanted to touch it. Tara, I admire you so much, but I don't "dis-admire" Michael Wolff either. IMO, we ought to all be in this together to out the perpetrators, whatever it takes. It's not a good time to infight about an important issue like this. In any case, I support your absolute right to voice your opinion about Michael Wolff.

Yep. Something VERY fishy re Wolff. I will no longer read about or listen to anything he has to say.

Thank you Tara for this important accounting of Wolff's questionable behavior. Your piece is an important view of his sordid actions with his proximity to power.

Thank you for shining a bright light on this............

It is so hard not to be cynical reading stuff like this. These so called reporters who are really advisors to political people has really gotten out of hand.

I know this is a tangential point but the first thing news media can do is to stop putting campaign operatives on these endless panels and acting like they are somehow providing us insight. The Scott Jennings of the world and the Democratic equivalents. If we must have all these talking heads, at least make them journalists.

Regarding this dude, very happy to see Tara taking on her peers and cutting no slack to him. If only other professions like cops and doctors would do the same.

Tara delivered a strong piece exposing M. Wolff’s ethical lapses and the details revealed in his email exchanges with J. Epstein. I often watch him on Inside Trump’s Head, and in the most recent episode Joanna Colles distinguished herself by pressing him with pointed, uncomfortable questions about the matter. Wolff repeatedly attempted to sidestep accountability, offering one evasive response after another.

Whoa. You pulled together every “wait, what?” that has come out about Wolff in the last week or so. My big question about Wolff now - what was his end game when he came onto social media stage this year as the fearless opponent of Trump with regard to Epstein?

Well said! I hope he uses this as a chance to do the right thing for the victims, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Hope he proves me wrong.

I've always felt that he was just leading us on and had way more info than what he shared. He gave everyone that interviewed him the same little tidbit of information. Another grifter!

Awesome report. I feel so icky now… but better to know the real enemy than not. Thanks for this bit of truth! The slugs keep showing themselves… they can’t help it. Also makes me wonder when Maggie Haberman’s name is going to start showing up in this cast of putrid characters.

I'm sure glad for your words on what's current. Because, I at best get embarrassed and what's worse is that trust continues to fade. That's like losing your heart. We can't survive this heartless tide. But we can break it!

I've spent hours searching for the dim fuzzy light in all the darkness. So don't throw away the shades. The light is distant and scattered but it's bright in my eyes and the photons are revealing but only once. So remember!!😇💙 Santa is coming and he knows who's knotty or nice!
