Hell if one wants to look at socialism take a look at guys like Elon Musk getting bailed out with the governments money for Tesla and all the banks and corporations getting bailed out. Corporate welfare. You give some poor person an hand up and they call it socialism. Mamdani is a young man with some different ideas , some may work , some may not but he is not the same old same old. The democrats need to get a few more young guns into the party to liven it up, put some of the older stodgy folks out to pasture . I just love AOC, Crockett and Maxwell Frost , They seem to liven up the show. the democrats have got to quit sitting there letting the Crypto Grifter branding them and start slapping back.
So glad Sherrill won in NJ. I live in Ocean Cty which is very MAGA. Trump got 67% of the vote last year in ocean city and Ciattarelli also got 67% of the vote yesterday. Sadly, MAGA is not lessening here in Ocean Cty.
If you can turn your eyes away from the cruelty to immigrants and only focus on your bottom line, you deserve to be classified as a bigot or at least an elitist. I don’t get this idea that we owe an olive branch to people’s whose morality can be bought. I get to some level we are all that way but there are limits. Children are off limits, sexual assault is off limits, kidnapping is off limits, murdering people for their resources is off limits. If that has to be explained then we’re going to be right back at this point again SOON regardless of which party is in power.
