Tara (& Scott). I think Kennedy is an absolute scourge on our healthcare system and has done tremendous damage. That said, I find your critique of his voice disconcerting. I’m sure you were among those who, rightfully, criticized Trump for mocking people with disabilities. Kennedy has spasmodic dysphonia, which is the underlying cause of his raspy, halting voice. In other words, a physical disability.

Scott MacFarlane was a great guest! We could all tell he did radio. I have always considered MAHA cleaver because it allows people to project whatever they want fixed in healthcare or agriculture onto the movement which the ideal marketing strategy for a political movement (i.e. "Change" for Obama). However, I have always been confused on how the caucus within MAHA concerned about the use of over-processed foods and other chemicals being used in food and pharma could convince themselves that a political party which has being anti-regulation as one of its policy cornerstones would ever champion their cause.
RFK JR has fired many qualified medical professionals from the HHS. Yet, he has no experience in the medical field. We all should be concerned. Like Tara has said measles have been spreading rapidly. This was an important professional decision that needs further attention. If we neglect healthcare vaccinations we increase our chances for another pandemic.
As other commenters have stated, it seems likely/possible that Bondi was fired in order to prevent her, or delay her, from being questioned under oath. I.e., she was not fired for generally doing a bad job but was fired specifically to prevent her from being deposed. Very few media outlets are covering that as the primary reason but I think it’s by far the most plausible given how Trump operates. I’d love to hear the question posed to somebody on the House Oversight Committee. In related news, I’ve very much like to see you explore the possibility that Bondi is willing to testify but DOJ is fighting against that. So far, all the of the “she’s not showing up” language is coming from people other than Bondi or her personal attorney(s).
