The Republican policies on women's health makes me feel violated. No matter what my choices are they ( men ) have no idea how a women's body functions, their policies are prejudice, dangerous, and not fair.
Kat didn't know her own policies that her party voted for, the Drs & nurses calling their administration officials to make sure they would not be criminaly charged or fined and the same for Kat.
My heart goes out to her, I get it, I've been there, and I hope that she would have her party revisit their own policies they've passed on womens health.

Some things, like most health care and life and death decisions, should not be up to lawmakers. They are very personal decisions. To allow congress and laws to decide if we can live or die is incomprehensible. Yet here we are. Laws that control corporate greed, pollution, monopolies, government overreach and violence have been abolished. This is not what I envisioned for this country when I was growing up in the 70s.
Her life was saved, so she can actually continue her career.

A big rule in the LGBTQ community is to never "out" someone who remains in the closet. They may need to do be closeted to stay safe, they may face reprisals from family members, or they may be building themself up to coming out. But there is one exception to that rule: the closeted person is a virulently anti-LGBTQ public figure.
Same rule applies here. An aggresively anti-abortion person whose privilege protected her when the policies she supported could have killed her waives her right to privacy on the matter. Like you said, a woman without knowledge of the law, without the ability to contact a government lawyer, a person facing barriers to health care in the first place might have died before getting the care she needed. Because this has already happened in states with similar laws, who responded not by reversing the laws or providing clarity, but preventing records related to these preventable deaths from entering the medical indices.
