I know this conversation may sound like a side chat. Despite the Trump administration’s many blunders, the war plan group chat being the most damaging, Democrats are still in a pretty big hole and they can’t agree on the way out.

Matt Bennett, of the center left group Third Way, has advice for Democrats based on public polling and research – ditch the constitutional crisis and democracy talk, focus on the chaos and incompetence of the Trump administration, nominate centrist Democrats and don’t confuse the crowds for Bernie and AOC with victory.
